The light switches in your home are designed to work without the hub, so you can unplug a hub with a loud fan and all lights will work individually. Schedules come from the hub, and the keypads require a small amount of power from the hub, so complex functions would be disabled, but the house lights will work.
The internet is not required for normal operation - except for sunrise / sunset schedules or time of day. Without internet, the system will eventually be out of sync with real time. The hub also provides the small power needed for the keypads to work ( 16 volts, current limited to 260 mA )
With the hub unplugged, there are some options.
- Replace the fan - that is simple, disconnect the fan today, then drop in a replacement that I will send you, or you can get on Amazon stock number B0792BW2VH
- Replace the Hub and keep a spare
Fan Replacement
| 4 screws on the cover lead you to a control board, unplug the control board and unplug the fan wires. Place the hub back in service with the top of the case, and once the new fan arrives, install it. We recommend that the old glue be removed and a bead of gorilla glue be applied to reduce conductive noise

| A spare hub with a clone of your device names and preferences would be another option, that is $395, including factory replacement of your fan - we send the clone and you send us the old unit for service, and you have a spare
