Installer tools
Low Cost tools for the installer are listed here. These are available from ATX LED or can be made by yourself.
- Battery Supply: The AL-Battery48 is a 48v power source with built in battery and no current limiter.
By itself, it can power a DR2 and LEDs for simple testing- Connect it to the AL-WS-DR2 at trim to confirm the LEDs work
- Backwards Wire Finder - for P023R6 type fixtures in Fixed color 660mA
- using a AL-R@R-Work-CCT, connect an OJ-606 connector to one side the R@R-CCT.
This will indicate polarity and undervoltage
- Backwards Wire Finder - for P023R6 type fixtures ( 660 mA )
- using a AL-R@R-Work-CCT, connect two OJ-606 connectors to the R@R-CCT. This will indicate polarity and undervoltage
- Backwards Wire Finder - for DL-120 type fixtures
- using the DL-120 itself, reverse the wires until you have light.
- Backwards Wire Finder - E12 and E26
- using this device from Amazon B07J5411KB - connect the E26 male connector to a R@R-Work ( 48v ) device. This will indicate forward, reverse or the presence of 120vac.

- Connect it during rough in or trim to locate the upstream and downstream wires
- Connect it to the 18/5 to locate upstream and downstream wires
- use it to test any LED or string of LEDs
- default is 30 mA
- Press Button to reverse polarity
- can connect to DR2 DALI inputs to simulate DALI
