Too Dim

Lights do not get bright enough, or don't turn on

660 mA LED family

Max wattage per DRx channel = 28 watts

Max voltage = 45 volts

( minimum = 9 volts)

48v  LED family

Max wattage per DRx channel = 25 watts

Max wattage per SRP-2505-75 = 75 watts

option ( simple On/Off switch = 96 watts )

Good:  Example with 2x  660 mA bulbs = 12 Watts    ( 12 volts total )

Series

Good;   Example with 2 bulbs = 12 watts

Parallel

Whoops - wired in parallel!

3 ( or more )   660 mA bulbs in parallel = only 6 Watts total
2 watts / Bulb =  DIM

Bad_Parallel3

How to Fix:

- use 48v bulbs
- change the wiring to series
- track lighting cannot be used in Series
- vanity fixtures with from 2 to 4 bulbs are easy to wire in series

Whoops - wrong bulb type

48v bulbs, series wiring = 0 watts - Dead

Bad_Series
How to Fix:

- use 660 mA bulbs or fixtures
- no more than 5 in series

Whoops - too many in series!

6x    6 watt  bulbs =  very DIM

Seriesx6

How to Fix:

- use 48v bulbs
- change to 4 or 5 bulbs
- break into two strings of 3 ( or 4 or 5 ) bulbs each on one DR2
- See tandem mode for large rooms

Whoops - too many in Parallel!

DR2 is 28 watts max =  adding bulbs does not add more light

Parallel9

How to Fix:

- use a SRP-2305-75 for up to 75 watts ( 12 x  E26 or 24 x E12 or 15 x MR16 )
- use a ELG-150-48DA for up to 150 watts ( 25 x  E26 or 50 x E12 or 30x MR16 )
- break into two strings of 4 +  5  bulbs each on one DR2

LED Voltages

660 mA 6w bulb  = 9 Volts    ( E26, 4 inch )
660 mA 4w bulb  = 6 Volts    ( E12 )
660 mA 2w strip  = 3 Volts
660 mA 4w strip  = 9 volts
1440 mA 12w fixture = 9 volts  ( 6 inch )
