ATX LED switches are designed to use the standard US multi gang wall switch box there are various options, and reasons to not use some of these options



Backless Orange boxes

problem with these, is that the wires are not firmly held in place, and spray foam will push the wires everywehre, and will fill the box - so we do not suggest that they also cost more

Mixed 120vac / 51vdc boxes

Metal boxes

while metal boxes can be used, we strongly recommend to not use them unless this is a commercial job - the sharp edges damage the wires and the hardware to protect our wires is not well suited for awg 18
