ZWD provides some advanced controls for professional users



Query DALI POWER STATUS

this button returns the DALI voltages and currents

  • Internal power status  ( ON, OFF, Locked, low or high current)
  • Measured DALI bus voltage
  • DALI bus current when at logic zero
  • DALI bus current when at one to zero transition
  • DALI bus current  at logic one



Manual Address Assignment. 


enter the bus# (1 is default), Old Address, ,New Address and click Re-Assign.   ZWD will move the device and it's name to the new address.   DALI addresses are 0-63.   Thus,  if the new address is 255, then the device will be reset to no address, it can be found again using the assign address button. 
The bus# is only useful in 2 and 4 channel DALI systems
     


SEND DALI COMMANDS

You can send these DALI commands to the bus
  1. select the channel number ( for multi channel systems)
  2. Select the devices to send commands to
    1. Broadcast = ALL together
    2. Group ( 0 thru 15)
    3. Single Address ( 0-63 )
  3. Select the command to send
      1. Off, step up, step down, set to Min, set to Max
      2. go to scene
      3. set level
      4. set CCT
      5. Query Status
      6. Full individual rescan
      7. Reset to factory defaults ( keeping Short Address only)
Matrix of DALI addresses

  • Gray - never seen on the bus
  • Green - live at last quick scan
  • Yellow - duplicate devices at that address
  • Red - previously seen, not connected at this time
  • Tool Tip - popup shows the name of the device in the database

Advanced Controls for a device

you can

- Query a device with DALI 144 status command
- Read back all device data
- Send a DALI reset command 32 ( will also force re-calibration )
- Pulse one device to locate it
- Remove the short address assigned to the device, and / or remove it from the data base

Internal DALI power supply options

you can enable / disable the internal DALI supply, and change the current supported

If you change from Auto to Locked - the values will be frozen, otherwise they are determined automatically ( if @ 80 mA, the DALI bus voltage is low - it will increase by 180 mA )
