ZWD DALI Devices
ZWD supports devices on the DALI bus with different features for each device. These features are available after a DALI Master ( see the Admin page) has assigned addresses to DALI devices.
DALI devices are for example:
- ATX LED AL-WS-DR2 wall switch and LED Driver
- ATX LED AL-WS-DALI-8B multi switch
- ATX LED AL-WS-010v DALI wall switch
- Sunricher SR-2303AC Triac driver for 120vac systems
- Sunricher SRP-2309-75CCT driver for tunable white up to 75 watts
- Meanwell DALI LED drivers like the ELG-100-24DA
Generic DALI Device management
- Device Name for the installer
- 'Public' Name for use with Hue/ Alexa/ Google/ Siri
Visible Checkbox ( used to hide rarely used items to reduce list size) - Group assignments ( see DALI instructions )
- Wattage of the load for ZWD power calculations
- FADE rate controls ( duration and granularity )
- Minimum DIM level - if the output is not off, this sets the
bottom of the dimming range ( 1 is low, 254 is full bright ) - Maximum DIM level, limit max level ( 254 is full bright )
- Power On level, brightness after power outage
- Fail Level if the DALI bus has lost power
- Current Color temperature
- endpoint mapping of Color temperature and the DALI value for that color.
- Also shown is the
- DALI bus channel for multi bus systems ( 1 thru 4 ) - Short Address of this device - UPC and ID if reported if found - Firmware and Hardware version shown if readable - Factory set minimum dimming level |

AL-WS-DR2 Additional Features
- Not all advanced features are supported in early DR2 firmware versions
- only supported features are shown
- Fade UP time - # seconds to ON
- Fade Down time - # seconds to OFF
- Power ON level - either preset or simple return to the setting before power failed ( 254 is max).
Last means to set the light to the On/Off/Dim level prior to the power outage.
- Fail level - brightness if DALI bus is disconnected - 255 means no change
- Driver mode. There are these driver modes:
- Autodetect
- Split Left + Right ( typically used with Split N-Way)
- ALL CCT
- ALL Fixed
- Fan + Light
- Special PIR - Right output is powered all the time, an attached PIR device can be dimmed and controlled. Changes in the PIR are detected and reported
- Fan + 12v DC
- CCT not found - CCT requested but not detected
-
2nd Split Address ( Only useful if Split mode ) - this is the address that the Right output will have if N-Way mode is set to split
-
Slider Position - rightside up = bright, or leftside up = bright
-
Voltage ( Constant Voltage mode for Strip lights )

AL-WS-DR2 N-Way features - N-Way setting is at the bottom of the same page
- - Three-Way - treats an external AL-WS-M as a 3-way switch
- Split - treats an external AL-WS-M a 2nd short address
- Fan Mode ( N-Way input controls the Fan)
- Night Mode ( future )
- PIR Mode ( future )
- Vacancy ( future )
- Auto Off mode - enables a timer to turn the light off after a delay
-

|
AL-WS-DR2 2nd Address features
- Split - treats an external AL-WS-M like a single button keypad
- Program that switch for the action you want
Value = is the current setting ( 255 is disabled ) Address to send is the destination
- See DALI standards for Address,Group, Scene, Broadcast
- Trigger is an event that can be triggered by each button press
- Toggle is an event that can be triggered alternately On/Off by successive presses
- Undo is unique to ATX LED - if you enable Undo, then a Scene command is given, but if you hit that button again within 5 seconds, the lights will revert to the level before you hit scene - undo.

AL-WS-DR2 Fan features
- Fan Speed - 254 is max
- Fan Idle Speed - it can still turn when "off" - 0 disables this
- Delay between Light on and Fan on automatically
- Delay time to auto turn the fan off
Note: the AL-WS-M will turn the fan on/off as follows:
- Short press - on for 10 minutes (default - set by run time)
- Short press while on - add-on 5 minutes
- Long press - turns the fan off
Note: FW 66-69 do not support fan only timeout - if there is just a fan, and no light, need to create a macro to turn the fan off automatically

AL-WS-DR2 Tunable White features - Color Temperature - slider to adjust the color temperature now
- Temp / DALI Range - this changes the logical temperature associated with a DALI CCT value, we default to 353 representing max Right current and 0 representing max Left current Our default Right output has 2700K strings and the default Left output has 5000K strings. Both can be edited.
- Driver Mode must be ALL CCT for these controls to be active. This is DT8
- Voltage ( see DR2 general section above)
- Dim to Warm percentage - when the fixture is dimmed to this level ( default 1.5%) or 10 mA, the light will shift to warm
- Color (raw) defines the physical connection of the strings to the two output drives. In the event that the colors are discovered to be reversed on installation - this tab allows the colors to be reversed.

AL-WS-DR2 Advanced LED features
The AL-WS-DR2 detects the topology of the attached LED fixtures. Each LED chip is 3 volts, multiple chips are arranged in series per fixture, and multiple fixtures are arranged in series on a DR2.
This section shows the topology in terms of "height" of the LED chip stack.
For example: a P023R6-660mA has a height of 3, a ceiling with 5 fixtures in series would then have a height of 15. Should the DR2 calculate the wrong height - it can be corrected here.
A P023R6-48v or E26-48v has a height of 14, 16, 17 or 18. Do not adjust this for "48v" or "51v" devices!
Also - if there is any doubt about the operation of the DR2 - the "Reset rung count" button ( without changing the height values) will force a recalibration. Try that before changing any height values.

AL-WS-8B Common Features ( for all buttons)
- The AL-WS-8B is called a keypad or multi switch
- On DALI Devices you set the brightness of the status LEDs, the ontime of the status LEDs, and the name of the multi switch.
- Normally it should be hidden from Hue
- The "Fade UP" is the number of seconds that the blue status light stays on after a button is pressed. if "90" is selected - the light will stay on all the time
- The max level slider controls the brightness
- Other controls have no effect
