ZWD Other Devices
ZWD supports devices on the DALI bus that do not response to DALI request packets
these devices are for example:
- Passive DALI transmitters like the LT424
- DALI to DMX converters like the AL-DALI-DMX
- DALI wall switches like the AL-WS-DALI-8B
- DALI wall switches with dimmers like the AL-WS-010v
- GPIO devices like the AL-DALI-IO16
typically these devices have an address that is set with a dip switch, or other method ( not the usual DALI address assignment method )

Receive Only Devices
use this section to document the addresses of devices that can only receive DALI commands. The AL-DALI-DMX device has additional features that are supported by this section.
Transmit Only Devices
use this section to assign names to devices that generate DALI Level commands, for use with the Trigger functions.
Multi Address Devices
use this section to change the settings in the AL-WS-DALI-8B or AL-DALI-IO16 devices. See their data sheets for more details. You can use this section to
- Set the DALI mode and address for each button
- Single - 0-63
- Group - 0-15
- Scene - 0-15
- Broadcast
- Enable Paired operation
- pairs odd and even numbered buttons together into UP/DOWN instead of TOGGLE
- Control LED display, ON time is set by the FADE button in the AL-WS-DALI-8B device itself
- OFF always
- On and dim level matches the ARC level at the matching address
- On and the dim level is set by ZWD ARC commands only
- On without Dimming
