Amazon Alexa Integration

This walk-through will help you set up Alexa integration.  You will note that ATX LED derives its integration by emulating the Philips Hue protocols.

Prerequisites

  • AL-DALI-PI should already be configured and able to control the system (See this article for additional help connecting the AL-DALI-PI)
  • The Hue App should be set up and functional (See this article for help configuring Hue)


Setup Steps

    1. Install the Alexa App
      1. Apple App Store
      2. Google Play Store
    2. In the Alexa App, select the "More" menu from the bottom right and then click "Add A Device" then find "Philips Hue"

    3. When prompted, select that your device is not Bluetooth enabled and is a "Philips Hue V1 bridge (Circular shape)"

    4. Select "Discover Devices" and wait while Alexa searches and Connects

    5. Once the Hue Emulator is detected, you will see a screen showing the number of devices found.

    6. Select "Choose Device" and proceed one by one until all of the devices are configured

    7. You should now be able to control each of your lights using voice control!
