For large rooms with many lights, we have learned that these room also have multiple entrances.
- We place a DR2 at each entrance, controlling up to 4 CCT fixtures each ( 8 Fixed).
- We use the DR2 in DALI tandem mode to connect into a "virtual 3-way" group using the smart hub
- Up to 128 fixtures on 16x DR2 thus operate as one large 3-Way set of lights
- Virtual 3-Way
- Each switch controls the on/off/diM/CCT to all members of the group
- Each switch controls the color temperature
- No delays in execution
- Individual DR2 can still be addressed and controlled
- Beyond 16 DR2 - the setup is manual not automatic.
- Non DALI switches cannot operate in virtual 3-Way
